Amazing BBQ, especially considering it's not Texas! We were a bit nervous since nothing really compares to Texas BBQ, but this place totally exceeded expectations. The flavors were spot on, and the fact that they use tallow is genius--it really adds something special. The skill of the cook is obvious, and it was a great experience all around. Definitely a must-try! I only missed a beer with the food. I hope they can get their liquor license.

I have been a KCBS certified BBQ judge and can say this is without doubt the best BBQ restaurant in Utah. If you think there is better, DM me because I haven't tried it. The brisket, turkey and sausage are superstars as are the daily specials. The other thing that is wonderful are the sides. So many restaurants skip over this--it would be a huge mistake to do that here. Favorites are the fries (on Thursdays, corn and mac&cheese, but also be sure to get some tortillas to wrap around the meat or mop up the drippings left on your tray.

Found this spot walking by. The lofty claims in the window of being a highly cited bbq joint were not falsified. We were impressed with the flavor, moisture, and creativity of the menu. A great choice of you are a fan of bbq.

LOUD MUSIC OUTSIDE AND INSIDE THE JOINT. Gave me a headache just waiting for my to go order I bought 1/2 pound of brisket for $18, two Barbacoa birria tacos with peppers/pickled onions/etc. ($7 each), then pints of coleslaw/macaroni & cheese/baked beans ($10 each) and a bottled drink. Not cheap. But everything was delicious!! Worth every penny. They have several sauces--regular bbq, birria, sweet mustard, mole bbq, and salsa verde. Next time we will try their dessert. I was fortunate to find street parking nearby for lunch on a Wednesday. I'm sure weekends are crazy busy.

Phenomenal BBQ. This is true Texas style BBQ...no wannabe's here. This place is absolutely legit. They even make their own sausages. I have worked in Texas a good portion of my life and this ranks right up there. I've been to most of the nationally recognized/acclaimed local BBQ joints in Texas. Pica Rica is right there with them. Give then a try. If you love real BBQ... This is the place. Clean, friendly, and with great service too.

We are back in ST George once again and exploring new food options as well as some familiar places as well. Pica Rica has good reviews and seems relatively new to STG so we figured let's get our BBQ on. We arrived around 6PM which was just in time, it wasn't busy and we had plenty of time to stare at the menu and ask questions before we ordered, any later and it was pretty crowded. The menu is pretty simple, you can get pet pound plates or pre-arranged plates. My gripe was I wish there was a build your own plater. I would have preferred turkey instead of brisket and maybe another option. I was able to split the brisket with pulled pork so maybe it's all possible but I'm not sure as it's not listed that way. We got our platter and drinks and had to have the brisket nachos brought to the table. Overall everything was cooked well and tasted good. They didn't have a premade spicy BBQ sauce so we mixed their hot sauce and their mole BBQ sauce and that was a winner. Definitely give that a try with your meats. The Mac and cheese was good , the nachos were real good , and the meats were flavorful. We shared a piece of pie that was very good as well. Overall the food was good, the service was good and the atmosphere was good as well. If you're in St George give them a try.

Came up to St George for a quick trip and was strolling along the town area to come across this gem. Walking I realized it was more upbeat and ambiance was relaxed lunch spot. When going through the menu, I wanted to try it all but in a time crunch I went with the smoked fried chicken sando. It was made fresh and was still hot. I would recommend their sauces to make it the taste even better. You'll be greeted with a great server that will be ready for any meat selections for you. You can get it by the lb or just a sandwich. It was definitely something I would come back for to try all the other items. Come through this town so you check out this quaint spot. You won't regret it.

Up front, let's get this out there: this is good bbq. The trinity and a taco easily fed two of us, but I can see why someone would want this all for themselves. When asked which sausage I wanted, I asked for the spiciest one. They delivered. Good rib and brisket, and we loved the sauces. I was told that the Elotes was the most popular side dish. Yep. Definitely order this. Great service. Clean establishment.
